The strong tailwind assisted riders, at least to an extent, to break existing race records on their journey from Makanda (Grahamstown) to Coast (G2C) bike race on Sunday morning.

Rosehill Mall was where the race finished and a few brave supporters, as well as passers-by who were shopping at the mall, were there to welcome the riders home.
