The Kowie Camera Club opened its inaugural photo exhibition at the RD McKenzie Art Gallery in Wharf Street on the evening of Saturday November 10. The club has both young and old, experienced and novice photographers among its members. Some of the photos on display were taken by cellphone, proving that it doesn’t always take the most expensive equipment to capture a beautiful or poignant scene.
