The first Farmers’ Market of the year was buzzing with residents who came to enjoy a variety of offerings at the Medolino Caravan Park on Saturday, January 28. Market goers were treated to a variety of stalls filled with all sorts of homemade and home-grown items ranging from unique crafts to delicious food, along with new stalls with handmade teddy bears and more. SHWESHWE DESIGNS: Handmade doeks, oven gloves, plate holders, food bowl covers and small zipper bags made from the authentic internationally-recognised Three Cats Original Shweshwe fabric were available on Michelle Mgxoteli’s stall at the Medolino Market. You can also find the shweshwe and waxprint crafter selling around Kasouga village during holidays.

The homemade, fresh and mature cheese on offer included sundried tomato olive and basil flavoured, Italian herb garlic and chilli flavoured, the most-bought cumin cheese and the famous blue cheese
